Knowledge Based Process Planning and Design for Additive Layer Manufacturing

This project has been funded with the support from the European Comission (Seventh Framework Programme Of The European Union. Research For Sme Associations).

The objective of this project is to design, develop and test an Expert Process Planning tool for ALM (Additive Layer Manufacturing), implemented into a knowledge-based engineering system (KBE) that can estimate functional properties of ALM parts automatically and in short time.

Duration of the project: 1st july 2010 - 30th june 2013

The consortium is composed by 4 SME Ags, 4 RTDs and 5 SMEs from Spain, France, UK, Sweeden, Slovenia, Germany and Croatia.
